![]() ![]() A fluent Yiddish speaker, she hails from a family of Yiddish cultural activists and is a member of the advisory board of the National Yiddish Theatre/Folksbiene. Rosenfeld received a BA from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a JD from NYU Law School, where she was a junior fellow at the Center for International Studies. Earlier in her career she practiced law with the firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison, where she was co-counsel on the landmark international human rights case, Kadic v. She was previously on the faculty of the Lawyering Program at NYU Law School and served as dean of students and international programs at Hofstra Law School, as well as director of Hofstra’s study abroad program in Italy. Prior to joining the NYPL in 2016, she served as senior director of programs and chief operating officer at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College, an institution that she helped launch and build into one of the city’s premier spaces for dialogue around history, public policy and human rights. I am now working as a teacher in Roosevelt High Schools Autism Program where we combine. On March 26-28, 2023, the National Center will be holding our 50th annual conference at Hunter’s main campus and at Roosevelt House. Masters Degree in Secondary Special Education, Hunter College.
